Students in non-traditional housing (Landing, Crossing and Village) and Commuter Students have the option to choose any meal plan.
The Meal Plan Contract encompasses the entire academic year and each semester portion is billed to the Student Account. The fall semester meal plan will be automatically assigned to you for the spring semester if not changed otherwise.
Teal meal swipes on the Hawk Gold, Hawk Silver or Hawk Bronze plans must all be used in the one week time period which refreshes on Sunday at midnight. The swipes (dining hall or teal meals) that are on the Block 125, 85, or 50 plans must be used within the semester in which they are purchased. Unused Food Dollars roll over to the next semester if and only if you purchase a meal plan for that semester. Additionally, rolling occurs from summer to fall and fall to spring ONLY. Unused Food Dollars will be rolled into the following semesters account after the meal plan change period for that semester. All unused Food Dollars expire at the end of the spring semester. The meal plan prices shown reflect the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 academic year.
NC Sales Tax is charged on the Meals portion only at the time of meal plan purchase. Food Dollars will be taxed as they are used. Prices shown below do not include sales tax.
Login to MySeaport, select the Students tab (at the top of the page), then select the Submit a Student Meal Plan Application link (in the middle under Housing, Dining & Transportation)
