Meet our Campus Dietician!
Chelsea Stant, MS, RD, LDN
Chelsea Stant is the Campus Dietitian who works with students at UNCW to help them meet their nutritional goals, learn how to best feed themselves, and navigate dining on campus. Chelsea believes that true health encompasses not only what we put into our bodies, but how we feel about and in them as well. She knows that most college students have limited time, money, and energy, and is there to help them make the healthiest decisions possible with the resources they have. Chelsea received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology from the Ohio State University in 2010 and completed her Master’s Degree in Human Sciences at Texas A & M University Kingsville in 2012. She has been a Registered Dietitian as well as a Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist in the state of North Carolina since 2011. She joined the Abrons Student Health Center team in 2014, and teaches both Nutrition & Behavior and Sports Nutrition classes within the School of Health and Human Services. Chelsea lives with her husband, son, 2 dogs, 3 ducks, 4 chickens, a cat, and a rabbit on a small homestead in Burgaw, NC where she enjoys trying to grow and raise as much of her own food as possible. She likes to spend any spare time she has reading, playing video games, painting along with Bob Ross, and of course, cooking.
