Meal Plans

What Meal Plans do you offer?

We offer a variety of meal plans to meet your on campus dining needs. Check out our Meal Plan page for a full list of offerings.

How do I sign up for a meal plan?

By logging on to mySeaport. Click on the How to Sign up link on the left for step by step instructions.

What type of Meal Plan is recommended?

We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on your class year, where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. Be sure to use our filter and sort functions to help choose your plan. If you still need help choosing a plan, give us a call at 910-962-3382.

Are Meal Plans required?

All students living in traditional residence halls are required to purchase a meal plan. Those living in Seahawk Village, Landing, Crossing or off-campus are not required to purchase a plan but may take advantage of the convenience and value a meal plan has to offer.

What are Food Dollars?

Food Dollars are accepted as payment at all on dining locations They are loaded right on your Student ID card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles! Food Dollars can be purchased logging on to mySeaPort.

Can I change my meal plan?

Yes, students have 5 business days from move-in weekend to change their meal plan. You can change your meal plan simply by logging on to MySeaPort and accessing the Dining Application.

How do I get into the dining locations once I have purchased my Meal Plan?

Within 24 hours, your Student ID card will be activated with your meal plan. Present your card to the cashier in the dining hall, and you are all set!

What happens to my unused Food Dollars at the end of the semester?

Your unused Food Dollars transfer from the fall to the spring semester. At the end of the spring semester, any unused Food Dollars are not refundable and cannot be transferred to the new academic year or summer sessions.

What do I do if my Food Dollars run low?

Simply go log on to mySeaPort and add more.  A minimum purchase of $50 is required.

If I don't use all of my Teal Meals in one week, do they carry over to the following week?

Teal Meals do NOT carry over from one week to the next.  Block Plans which allot Teal Meals on a semester basis will carry over from one week to the next.

When do Teal Meals reset for weekly plans?

Weekly meal plan balances reset each Saturday night at midnight.

Can I carry Teal Meals over to the next semester?

No, all Teal Meals expire at the end of the semester.
